Natural History Museum
Client: Natural History Museum
Goal: Design a glamorous new Friends suite to reflect the Museum’s expertise and collections.
Delivery: Access to the Friends area is one of the tangible benefits of being a supporter of this venerable institution. We laid out an eye-catching double-height object case in the stairwell that takes Friends up to their new rooms, highlighting 200 objects from across the Museum’s collection. Inside the suite the rooms were given character through dramatic, bold wallpaper designs based on 19th century illustrations of plants, fruits and fungi.
Result: The spirit of the Museum is evident in the character of the rooms, giving the Friends a strong visual imprint of the organisation that they are supporting.
