Client: South Gloucestershire Council
Goal: Create a travelling digital exhibition about local history
Delivery: We built four large, lightweight, internally-lit graphic cubes which could be dismantled into sections and assembled in a variety of venues. Each cube supported two browsing kiosks that delivered archive images, films, oral history and text about towns and villages across the west of England. The software allowed for online expansion of the stories, as public engagement days and history workshops were carried out in each venue.
Result: The display looks fabulous in any location, from modern library entrances to medieval palaces. The internal lighting makes it highly visible and a good attractor, even in the semi-darkness of a cathedral side chapel.
