Caledonian Clock Tower
Client: Islington Borough Council
Goal: Connect residents and visitors to the history of London’s most unusual park and clock tower.
Delivery: We created a coherent visitor experience for the climb up the eight stages of the tower which explained the site, the clock mechanism and the view. Outside the tower, we designed rugged visual interpretation that told the area’s unusual history in eight scenes, with an online link to audio files.
Result: Striking visual images embedded into all parts of the visitor route, and a delivery style designed to humanise the history as personal stories.
Ask us about... creating a 22-metre-long historical frieze in water-cut sheet steel for the new park gates.
